The unit has a look at all possible equipment, which can be used in a classroom today. A whiteboard is the most widespred visual aid, but many teachers may not know how to use it effectively. So it was important to learn what should be avoided during its usage. What I also found to be useful is a list of online dictionaries and resources.This unit covers the troubleshooting aspects while teaching english as a foreign language. This involves common problems such as what to do in first lessons, managing students wth different ability levels, how to start classes and deal with managing large class sizes, and the important area of native language usage and student motivation.
