Different situations require different kinds of testing. Different tests help us evaluate the different needs and levels of each student. They also help the teacher to see what students have learned and understood and what they need to improve upon. They also keep teachers from putting students in classes that are not appropriate for them.When considering which teaching style I could most readily employ, and which would fit well with Korean culture, I felt that a lexical and Communicative approach would best normalize them to fluency and use, but I feel that PPP is needed to provide comfort and fluency with a Roman alphabet. These are approaches I was previously unaware of.
