This video lesson was quite useful to gauge the difference between a poor lesson in contrast to a more structured lesson. It showed the ESA techniques in a real life situation and how it can be effective when teaching new grammar or vocabulary. I was able to pick techniques in the video that would work for me and techniques that wouldn't.This was an interesting one, I never thought of English in this way and I was not taught English in this way with productive or receptive skills. I am amazed at what I am learning as a native speaker of English. I just speak and speak and write and write without thinking of all these things. I teaching English is a totally different thing!
