From this unit, I learned the difference between active and passive voice, as well as the differences between the types of phrasal verbs. When speaking in passive voice, the speaker sounds less definitive. When speaking in active voice, the speaker sounds more assertive. This is an important distinction to make clear to students of English.It has been a good revision for the present tense rules. It really helps to see examples for teaching that unit, and having a lot to think bout, like students ages and level. Its important for the teacher to be well prepared in advance, so that the students don't get board, also to let the students have their talk time in order to practice.
