In this unit I learned a lot about the different types of present tenses. I really liked how the unit gave the reader examples of the usage. I also liked that it gave the reader examples on how the English learner might have difficulties with the present tenses. The two tenses I remembered learning about when I was in school is present simple and present continuous. The two tenses that I was relearning are present perfect and present perfect continuous. After reading the unit, I can understand why these two tenses could be harder to grasp for English learners. I plan to use some of the activities suggested such as role-playing since it is very interactive.
