The unit addresses how teachers should manage classes. Other than teachers' behaviour (such as physical presence: eye-contact, gestures and also voice), classroom setting arrangement cannot be neglected as well to facilitate learning. In order to facilitate effective learning for all individuals, the unit also reminds teachers that fairness and consistency is a very vital element as it helps building rapport. In my opinion, the unit again reminds us that teachers have to be flexible all the time. Classroom setting can be different every time depending on the topic and activities of each lesson. While some are more teacher-centred which requires a traditional classroom setting with orderly rows; some more interactive lessons (when some classes are designed to have more oral practices at activate stage for example) may require a change in classroom setting that students are sitting in circle or separate tables. Most importantly, teachers should be well-prepared for their lesson plan in order to know which classroom setting is the best fit for their coming lesson. Other than that, I have also learnt that teachers should be always aware of TTT in class. Teachers easily dominate the lesson by talking too much and lead to a phenomenon that students are spoon-fed while learners can actually engage more in class.
