This course has been very helpful to me. It has greatly expanded my confidence for teaching english. A couple years ago, I did a short term placement teaching english in thailand. While it was an amazing experience, I was unprepared and uneducated on how to teach effectively. This course has given me the background, knowledge and technical skills on how to run a productive classroom. I feel like it has covered all the bases necessary, and has given me ample practice with creating lesson plans. I plan on traveling to South America sometime in the next year to teach english. I have printed out all the units and worksheets from this course and have compiled them in a binder. I plan on bringing it with me as a reference to guide my way through teaching.
