We have learned a great deal from the course. As both being teachers currently in the classroom a lot of the course was a refresher to what we do every day. It was incredibly interesting to see strategies and techniques eloquently explained and justified which you forget on the day-to-day marathon which is teaching. The units which were most useful to us were the grammar units. I personally find grammar difficult and it was essential that a full grammar review was covered as it is very important for our future english language learners. We intend to print out all of the PDF documents and use it as an active resource when we teach overseas. The amount of information and its accessible and organized format will be invaluable when we put what we have learned into action. After being exposed to such a diverse array of games, activities, strategies, resources, and techniques we feel well equipped to be successful on a day one.
