I found this course to be very informative and very well organized. I feel much more confident in my ability to explain english grammar and to organize a classroom environment. The information that was presented in the units was practical and useful. The course covered a wide variety of topics that I feel have better prepared me for the future. The amount of time given to complete the course is very generous and allows plenty of time to complete the assignments while still giving a reasonable deadline so that the information will not be forgotten or lost over time. The course has given me greater insight into the methods and preparations that are involved in teaching english as a foreign language. I found the lessons on english grammar to be very useful. Immediately I had greater confidence when explaining these items and answering questions from others. My online tutor always gave me positive feedback, but also would point out areas that I should focus on or pay attention to. I feel that the instruction I have received in lesson planning is invaluable and I plan to utilize these skills as I begin my career teaching english. I am confident that I will be able to successful organize and manage a classroom, as well as plan engaging and informative lessons by combining my knowledge of english grammar, teaching methods, classroom organization, and lesson planning that I learned from taking this course.
