I feel this course has given me that little bit of extra confidence to walk into a classroom. I liked the various teaching methods that were discussed (some of which I already use and some which I plan to use now). The course has helped me to plan lessons more effectively and with more thought behind the ideas. I enjoyed the very simple grammar explanations that were discussed with all the basic structures and I plan to use them more effectively especially with lower level students. I liked the structures of Engage Study and Activate and think that these are very effective ways, to create interesting lessons. Overall I thought the course was well structured covering all the important aspects required to teach english. I plan to incorporate some of the teaching ideas that were discussed and also focus more on pronunciation correction and miming.
