My sister and my son currently reside in Fribourg, Switzerland. I took this course to acquire another resource that might gain me entry and employment into Switzerland. Initially, I thought the course would present no problems for me as I am a) a native english speaker and b) I?m a fairly educated person. What I gained from this course though, was an understanding that english is so much more than just being able to speak the language. Re-learning grammar, phonetics, teaching techniques and learning level strategies had truly opened my eyes to the vastness of teaching english no non-native speakers.
