I have learned a lot from this course. First, the grammar part. It definitely has reinforced my knowledge in the language. Second is the teaching methodologies. It has taught me about the different methods to employ in teaching and adjust them depending situations and audiences. Other areas include course books, teaching materials, equipments etc. How to select and use them. Also I learned about how to plan my lessons, adjust them to suit the students and also meeting the needs/requirements of the students. I have plans to do teaching in thailand next time. Probably to move and live there for a couple of years and teach the young locals there. At the mean time I may use the teaching knowledge I have, and do some small group teaching or tutoring in community centers. This may help me in building up my confidence and teaching skills which I can later use.
