I have gained insight into what teaching english and languages entails. I have been constantly reminded on the need to make plans to good effect in the class. This course is invaluable to anyone wishing to teaching english, because it reinvigorates the desire to learn and speak english correctly that was the norm in the high school days. It feels good having to revisit tenses and phonology and struggle with the right phrases and modals. Since I haven?t been teaching yet, I think with the EFL methodology I will stand a better place when I get into the classroom armed to the teeth. I have gotten many references and links where to search for materials that will be relevant to the teaching process. The games seem challenging to the japanese situation, but I believe they can be modified to suit the needs of the students.
