Overall I am very satisfied with this TEFL course. I have a very limited amount of secondary education related to teaching so this course has done a great job introducing so many teaching methods, techniques, and ideas to me. This course has so much good information that I will take with me for the rest of my teaching career. Also, it will be helpful when I need to refresh some ideas that I am about to teach my students. As a native english speaker, we are rarely taught the names of words and the correct form to use certain words in. We are taught in school at a younger age but are not expected to remember the terms, and most of our english language is not taught in the classroom, but is taken from real life conversations and our social environment. This course did a great job of reintroducing all the correct terms for words and the formations they are used in. I was not sure what to expect going into this course, but what I got out of it is very valuable to me. The ESA method seems like a very effective method to use in the classroom and I can?t wait to get my first TEFL job and be able to use it. The variety of teaching methods and activities will be so useful and will make teaching english so much easier and enjoyable for me and my students.
