I have gained an excellent refresher of english grammar and now have the definitions I can use to teach them. I have several lesson plans that I can use as a starting off point when I get a job teaching english. This course has given me the ability to think in the mindset of a teacher and I am now able to think creatively about creating a lesson plan that will be effective and help the students learn the english language. I have a much better idea of what to expect and have a useful skill sets so that I will be prepared to walk into my first class and will be able to stay afloat thought the course. In addition to the many skills I have taken away from this course, I have been given so many resources from course book ideas to websites to activities and exercises. If I am provided with no materials from the institution that I end up working for I will have a solid base of skill and materials to plan a solid lesson strategy.
