Being a native english speaker you sometimes lose sight of how many facets the english language actually has. This course has allowed me to be more up to date, knowledgeable and confident in my teaching skills. I have been able to practice parts of speech that are seldom detailed and have been able to refresh knowledge (especially grammar) that I hadn?t seen since high school. This course has also given me insights into teaching skills that can be used in other subjects. While I have prior experience teaching ESL courses I plan to continue to teach in the future. This course perfected the skills that I had already developed through experience and will give my students a more thorough learning experience than I would have been able to offer previously.
