In Unit 15, I learned to identify the different types of tests that can be utilized to continuously check on a students progress and existing knowledge. As a private English teacher, i have found that the most vital test is a placement test because everyone is different. It is useful to monitor students on a daily basis to check their progress but progress tests should also be practiced as some schools require it.Teaching different groups of students can be a challenge. For example business students may not be as motivated, tired from work, and inconsistent with their attendance. Also teaching these types of business students does not require knowledge of the business because the main point is teaching English. One on one teaching is also different you cant teach them the same way you teach a classroom full of students.
