This unit has helped by talking about different groups of learners such as young, adult and business learners. These groups vary tremendously in what they require. When teaching younger students you must keep the lesson interesting and fun in order to keep their attention. This, however, is not the case with business learners since they understand the important of learning the language and therefore do not need entertaining.This unit has made me reflect on the different techniques that my teachers have implemented throughout my learning career and how effective they all are when used properly. Learning the teaching parts of this course is what I have been looking forward to the most, because it does not matter how important the information is you are trying to teach to the class if you are unable to get the students enthusiastic about learning.
