I had previously taught on a University level, but I have never taught english. I felt prepared to deal with classroom management, activities, etc. However, I benefitted the most from the grammar review and explanations of how to teach english. I?ll certainly use the lesson plan format, as well as the ESA style of teaching as I start teaching english courses. I?m sure that I will be referencing the curriculum when difficult lessons need to be planned or when the students are having a hard time with a particular concept. Overall, the course was very helpful in preparing me to teach english.
