Looking over the span of the course I have gained a new understanding of english. As an english speaker I think that I have taken the difficult of learning english for granted. I realize now that there are many different rules and implications behind speech and sentence structure. The overall result of taking this course was a good refresher with grammar. I think as a native speaker I use proper grammar but don't really know the rules behind the structure. The class helped reiterate the different rules and structure.
