This lesson reminds me of the teaching methods I used in the class room years ago. I have to keep in mind when teaching English as a second language, that I have to engage the students in order to facilitate the lessons. I need to make the lessons and activities fun and meaningful. Encouraging students to use English instead of their native language will enhance the learning process. Positive feedback is of utmost importance in order to make the students feel encouraged and excited about learning this new language.In this unit I have learnt about Evaluating students , tutorials , Evaluation by the students and so much more . Tests with their different kinds such as placement tests , progress tests , diagnostic tests , practice tests , general external examinations , and cambridge assessment tests are also topics and areas i have extensively come across . I found the placement test really useful and interesting as well as the whole unit as it has filled in some knowledge gaps i had previously concerning the topic evaluation .
