This section test seems a little haphazard. The course material was a general overview of test, and a description of each. I do think one of the best parts is that it explains the differences between these test, whether it be to test a student's personal progress, or to gage what level a student should be placed in, in regards to a learning environment. How I choose to evaluate my students is a very important area of concern to me, but I don't feel as if I walk away from this section as knowledgeable about how to test the students per say.The first video in the unit was very difficult to watch. I was cringing and very uncomfortable. If I were a student in that class I would have felt very discouraged, unhappy, I may even not want to come back. The second video felt much warmer and was definitely much more effective at engaging the students. I have a mellow personality, so I'm not entirely sure that I would feel very comfortable being overtly animated. However, after going through this unit, I am now aware that I may have to make some changes to properly engage the students.
