This unit covers different forms of teaching and to different audiences, especially beginners . The different types of beginners have been broken down into two to three categories based on their motivation. The section also provides tips for teaching them. the unit further covers teaching children and individuals along with suitable activities. It then covers the Students and learners of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), which covers motivations, needs analysis (along with example format), classroom management, materials and evaluations.Like Unit 4, Unit 6 was a bit of a challenge for me. I?m not sure how I?ll end up doing on the test. The past tenses we covered were not things that were specifically taught to me growing up. I just learned that the sentence, ?When I arrived John started to cook? was the proper way to say/write the sentence. Not, ?When I arrive there John start to cook.? I have been having a really hard time with these units because I don?t feel that the examples match the test questions that well. Fingers crossed my score is a good one!
