Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit covered ways to help you adjust your teaching style or methods to suit different classes/students. It discussed the importance of developing rapport with your students, as well. The unit went over different ways to help encourage and support students who might be less eager, be it because they are reluctant or if they are struggling with the class content. It discussed issues that may arise from different class sizes, and offered ideas of activities or strategies that support different class sizes, and the students within each class. This unit really opens up some of the possibilities for making reading and listening tasks less of a chore. That pre-teaching comes after the engage phase is interesting. I always find it jarring. If the vocabulary isn't particularly easy or fun, it can make the engage phase seem disconnected. I suppose if the engage phase was linked to the vocab pre-teaching it would make the transition easier. I surmise that one should simply use their intuition to transition from phase to phase smoothly. But some transitioning pointers would be very useful.
