This unit focused on coursebooks and lesson materials. In the broad category of lesson materials, there are two groups: authentic materials created materials. It is important for the teacher to be wise in choosing or creating materials to compliment the lesson. Things to consider when doing this are relevancy, difficulty level and culture. Moving along, there are several advantages and disadvantages to using course books. All of these things must be considered when choosing a coursebook. This unit had many practical tips to choosing course books and preparing materials for a classroom setting.
