This was an interesting unit. I learned about productive skills. The productive skills are writing and speaking. I learned about accuracy and fluency activities. Accuracy and fluency activities carry equal importance. I also learned about the types of speaking activities in the classroom. I also learned how the teacher should encourage the students to speak in the class and what factors contribute to a student not wanting to speak in the classroom. In this unit I also learned about writing skills and how things such as handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation contribute to writing skills. Overall this was a very informative unit.
