Unit 5, \"Teaching Themes\", provides many excellent resources for teacher and students. The lesson plans provided clearly demonstrate the ESA method. Explanations on how to use case studies, authentic material etc. were very helpful for the lesson plan I am currently working on. Thank-you.I have learned the differing stages of teaching methodology and how they can be used and varied to plan successful lessons. I have also gathered the importance of feedback for both the student to improve their learning experience and the teacher to enhance their teaching for future lessons.Course books are a very emotive issue for many teachers. Some teachers swear by them, while other teachers despise them. Almost every published course book has its fans and its detractors. The choice of whether or not to use a course book, and if so, which one, can be quite a complex issue.
