This unit looked at the future tenses and in detail with their usage and teaching ideas. The four forms of future tense are future simple, future perfect, future continuous and future perfect continuous. With exceptions to 'going to' future, some forms of present simple like timetables and schedules, and some forms of present continuous like definite arrangements and plans without a time frame. For me, I learnt the structure of how to form each future tense sentence, like future simple - subject + will + verb, future continuous - subject + will + be + verb+ing, future perfect - subject + will + have + past participle, and future perfect continuous - subject + will + have + been + verb+ing. I found the 'going to' form helpful to work with verbs that are 'to be'.
