In this unit, I learned about the general concepts and different techniques that exist in classroom management. Classroom management refers to the ways in which student behavior, movement, and interaction during a lesson are organized and controlled by the teacher? For a class to be able to learn effectively The teacher must be able to ?nspire confidence in the students. .Class Rules At the beginning of the school year, establish the class rules. Discuss Classroom rules with the students and consequences of misbehavior. Post room rules and consequences of misbehavior. .Students? Seating The way the students are seated in the classroom will often determine the dynamics of the lesson. Indeed, a simple change in the seating pattern can make an incredible difference to group coherence and student satisfaction. there are also other factors that need to be treated like: Setting-up activities ? Giving instructions ? Monitoring activities ? Timing activities ? Bringing activities to an end Activities ? Forming groupings ? Arranging and rearranging seating ? Deciding where you stand or sit ? Reforming class as a whole group after activities Grouping and seating? Gathering and holding attention ? Deciding who does what (ie answer a question, make a decision, etc.) ?
