There are seven types of future tense: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going with infinitive, the present simple, the present continuos. We use the future simple with: future facts and certainties, promises, predictions based on no present evidence, assumptions/speculations, threats. we use the future continuous: to say something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future, to predict the present to say what we think or guess what might be happening now, for polite enquiries referring to other's people plans, to refer to future events that are fixed. The future perfect tense is used to say that something will have been done, completed or archieved by a certain time in the future. We can use the future perfect continuous to say how long something will have continued by a certain time. We use the going to future with: intentions, predictions based on present evidence, decisions made before speaking. We use the present simple as future with timetables and schedules. We use the present continuos as future for definite arrangments.
