In this unit I have learnt: 1)It is very important for inexperienced teachers to plan their lessons. A lesson plan gives you something to refer to during the lesson, it acts as a record what class has done and it helps you to think logically trough the stages of the lesson if you write down what achievements you are expecting from your students. 2)I have learnt how should a lesson plan be written down and what are the basic principles of lesson planning. It is important to keep it simle,do not try to script the lesson and keep it flexible. 3) It is important to be organised and before starting the lesson it is important to check couple of things to make sure your lesson goes smoothly ( check: that you have your lesson plan, that the equipment works,lay out materials so they can be easily found,etc.) 4)What teacher includes in a lesson plan is veryuch up tp the individual,but at the start of the teaching career it is important to structure lesson plan more. 5)As a teachers we are striving to improve our skills so its also important to monitor our own lessons,so we can help ourselves to develop.
