A good teacher should be kind, patient,lively, able to motivate, involve students in lesson and interact with them in combination with love for teaching and good subject knowledge.The teacher will have several roles during a lesson, such as controller, organizer, model etc. The role we have in a lesson depends always on the Type of activity and on what we wish to achieve, so it is important that the teacher is able to switch roles appropriately. A good learner listens and experiments the language,asks questions and accept corrections, has a desire to learn. Usually the most common reasons for learning English are career prospects, travelling or living in English speaking country, studying in English, communicating and interest for languages.Depending on the age of the learner the learning experience, motivation,nervousness,language awareness, behaviour and life experience change. Furthermore the culture and first language is an important factor to how the students approach the learning.There are 6 different levels based on the ability in the English language.Teachers have usually their own favourite levels for various reasons, such as difficulty of communication, level of motivation.Being able to understand the students' level and to find the appropriate role for each situation is important and contribute to being a good teacher.
