In teaching the past tenses to the students, reading a story and narrating it to them can actually help them understand more. After reading it to them you can then describe the story using the past simple, past perfect and past continuous tense. We can also use visuals during the activate stage of the lesson. For me this unit's quiet confusing though this was taught during my school days, reviewing everything from the basics will surely help me learn more and teach my students well in the near future.When talking about the future and distinguishing from the present tense and the future tense when discussing actions that happen, it can be a little tricky. By learning from this lesson it makes it more clear about the difference between the two. It was neat to see how the usage sections were displayed that allowed for me to see the distinction. I liked that it was made easy, especially be being able to see what is used for future events, like a timetable, and how to be able to teach that to students.
