This unit focuses on the two respective skills - reading and listening. A teacher must have an understanding of how to construct the a lesson, how to conduct it, to let students clearly understand and learn the material about the respective skills in English language. It is also very important to make students feel comfortable with the respective skills. The unit proveds the instructions and advices how to achive it, how to construct the Engage, the Study and the Activate part, in order to conduct a good lIn this lesson I learned new teaching techniques such as task based learning, audio-lingualism, and the silent way. The many teaching styles I learned have given me broader spectrum of ways to run my class. I learned when to use these new techniques and which one would work best where. Towards the end of the lesson I learned many games I can play with my class. I also learned the straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork ESA lessons which help me set up times of studying games and teaching interchangeably.
