I found the physical setup of chairs or desks in a classroom to be particularly fascinating, considering as a student I never put much thought into it. I did realize that depending on how the chairs were set up, students were more or less talkative and interactive, but I frequently attributed this to other factors as well, such as who was in the class that I knew, how shy the kids were, etc. If paired correctly with a teacher's good rapport and techniques, the physical setup of a classroom can be extremely beneficial.Unit 2 is about teaching and learning. It covers the role of a teacher in the classroom and what kind of students a teacher will encounter along with their problems and difficulties. However, this unit provides some tips how to deal with common issues in the classroom whether is a group class or one to one. The last part of the unit includes the methods and styles of teaching and the most popular scheme of class stages which is ESA. This unit is similar to what I learned in TESOL training but it is still useful for me.
