I learnt from this unit which are the relevant aspects of teaching vocabulary, grammar and function structures. I liked the way it was addressed. The theory is given and immediately thereafter an example was given in order to understand it. The ESA approach provides teacher a confident tool to organize and plan our teaching. Vocabulary and grammar shouldn't be the focus of a class, but they have to be included appropriately in order to provide adequate tools so our students can use and reproduce what they are learning.This unit gives us a more in-depth view of the more specialized types of lessons: teaching special groups (teaching young learners and teaching business classes). The unit covers different approaches required to manage these types of classes effectively and what is different from teaching regular groups. We also learn particular features and possible difficulties we can encounter when teaching individual lessons: how should a teacher adjust to individual students and what needs more attention compared to group lessons.
