Important to note in this unit was meeting the class for the first lesson and whether they were new group of students or an existing group who were familiar with EFL Teaching. It is necessary to establish a rapport with the students and find out about their needs and what they aspire to do in the future with their English. Various warmers were discussed to get students exited and motivated such as tongue twisters and memory games. Also covered was dealing with reluctant students and how the teacher could help them participate such as using pair work. The modals are: can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't, ought to. They are used before the other verbs to add meaning to the main verb and is used to express different ideas such as: obligation, possibility, permission, ability, advice. Modal verbs are also useed to express different degrees of formality. In the passive, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of te passive verb.
