This lesson was helpful because it gives you more details about the usages of each tense. I feel that sometimes students get confused when they are doing different past tenses. For instance I have noticed that my students often confuse the past continuous, and past perfect continuous. The reason why is that when you use the verb in each tense ends with (ing). In the future I can give my students more detailed reasons for the usage of the different tenses. Another helpful part of this lesson was they suggest different activities you can do with each tense.This unit on lesson planning focused on the importance of a lesson plan for the following reasons; so the teacher can write down lesson objectives and expectations, So the teacher can have a document that keeps a record of completed lessons and future lesson, finally, so the teacher can have a point of reference during the lesson. In this unit we also went through planning our own lessons. We learned the importance of predicting the time each activity will take, as well as the ability to be flexible with not only timing, but also with planned activities.
