In this unit i was able to re-learn some new things. One thing I relearned and reminded myself is that there are many types of different nouns: For an example, you have your main types of nouns, which are your common, proper, compound, abstract, and collective. I also learned the difference between countable nouns and uncountable nouns. I also relearned all of the indefinite articles. It is great to retouch on a lot of the topics i am already familiar with.This unit provided a much-needed refresher on the various forms of the basic parts of speech. For example, transitive and intransitive verbs can be difficult to separate if students are not aware of the stipulations between the two (i.e. being directly followed by a direct object). This unit also brought to my attention the order in which the parts of speech will need to be taught in order for learners of the English language to be able to grasp the concepts.
