I learned the part of the speech. Noun is the name of things, people and animals. Adjectives describe a noun. Gerund is \"ing\" form that is a noun. Conjunctions join words in a sentence. Verbs are action words. Adverbs add information to the action. Articles are definite ( the) or indefinite ( a / an) Preposition usually preceding a noun or pronoun.This unit has brought my grade school knowledge roaring back to me. I thought that I was fairly knowledgeable about grammatical tenses, but this unit has me second guessing myself. Now that I’ve gone through this unit, I feel more confident in my own skills. This confidence will help my relay this information to my students much more effectively.
