Keeping students' attention and maintaining discipline are two of the teacher's key duties. Eye contact, gestures, diction, tone, seating arrangements, and amount and type of group work can make or break the classroom. Teachers should always make sure to use a variety of all these in a positive manner to keep the students engaged in a positive way.Tougher unit to get through as I was having a bit of trouble with phrasal verbs. Unit does a good job explaining the differences between the modal auxiliary verbs and their meanings and when to use them correctly. Also enjoyed the section on the passive and active voice. Video was helpful again in solidifying information after reading through unit.
