This unit really confirmed my own beliefs around coursebooks and study materials - in the ESL classroom I find that one has to adapt quite a lot depending on the students, so I use course materials as a guideline. Having a curriculum does really help with lesson planning and ensuring that assessment is completed of specific language areas. Thank you!This unit has been very informative. Writing and speaking are such an integral part of the education process. Students need to know what they're reading and discussing but they also have to be able to write their answers and speak with confidence in their newly learned language. I found this unit to be helpful as I prepare to teach English to others.
