This unit covered the different types of exams and when they are to be used within the program. It also listed a few external exams such as the TOEFL and IELTS and the process in which they work. This unit was helpful to learn what is required for the students and how we can help them make progress through the results of different methods of testing.There are 4 basics skills in the language: receptive skills - reading and listening, productive skills - speaking and writing. While teaching students reading and listening, a teacher should take his/her students’ interests and language level into consideration and also set realistic tasks for his/her students which they will be able to perform.
