For this lesson the video and reading went a little different. The video dealt with both receptive and productive skills, reading/listening and speaking/writing respectively. The reading for this unit went deeper in detail with the teaching receptive skills and the potential problems that could occur and ways to combat them. I feel that illustrating the potential problems students can run into during a reading was most helpful as a teacher. Such as the whole idea of authentic and non-authentic texts, where the authentic texts aren't created for the purpose of language teaching. It can prevent us from confusing them, or bombarding them with too much information.
