Unit 19 covered teaching special groups such as (1) the absolute beginner, students who have no English at all, (2) the false beginner, students who may have studied or been exposed to English but have not retained much of it, (3) adult beginners, students who have made their own decision to learn English and are highly motivated, (4) young beginners, and (5) the beginner who may or does not know the Roman alphabet. In addition to covering the teaching of the various types of beginners, unit 19 discussed the advantages and disadvantages of teaching individual students, children, and clients wanting to learn business English.
