Unit three deals with different methods when teaching English to foreign students. It poses many of them, which I could recognize from my experience as a student. The ESA technique is introduced, as well as many different examples for each of the stages; engage, study, and activate. Thus unit made me realize that classes should be structured in a way that students can participate as much as they can, feel comfortable, learn new material, and put in practice that material. It also made me realize that they way I learnt English, and the way I was taught, was not the most effective way. A variate of activities within a structure is the best way to keep students fresh and encouraged.
