This unit present more advanced concepts of Modal and Phrasal Verbs along with Active/Passive Voices. We are provided with basic rules that generally apply to all Modal or Auxiliary Verbs along with usages of each as they may appear in each tense form. Teaching strategies are also provided. We are then introduced to the two 'voices' - Active and Passive with the distinction between the two, how to identify (or present) in various verb tenses and, too, converting from 'Active' to 'Passive' forms with basic meaning between the two 'Voices' remaining unchanged. The next information presented in the unit focuses on an explanation on the 3 types or classes of 'Clauses' (Independent, Dependent and Relative). In respect of the latter, It is explained that there are both 'Defining' or essential clauses or 'Non-Defining' or non-essential clauses that may contain information of less importance to the sentence and that we can identify these clauses by the use of commas or no commas. Lastly, we are introduced to Phrasal Verbs of which there are both Intransitive Verbs and 2 types of Transitive Verbs, each using 'Particles' but in different presentation/structural form.
