The unit on pronunciation and phonology has presented me with some challenges. I acquired English as my second language at the age of 11 and I have been using it correctly. However, the actual rules on stress, articulation etc. are clearer to me now. The correct making of the individual letter sounds is vital in my work with the very young students.this unit was about productive skills, writing and speaking. It explains the different stages that should be followed for both skills. Many factors have to be taken into consideration. It explains the difference between accuracy : how the subject is presented in order to be complete with right vocabulary and fluency how the story is told or written.
