This lesson forms an overall structure for lesson planning. It recognizes differences in teacher experience and thus gives a general outline and general principles that will be helpful for the new and experienced teacher alike. One tool I appreciated in this lesson was the self-evaluation form. This form will be helpful in improving my own lessons and teaching ability as I digest and evaluate what was positive and what could use improvement for the future. One aspect that I have found to be very important from past experience is to have a general gauge on approximately how long each activity will take, this was also emphasized in this lesson.
