The two videos in Unit 10 were beautiful examples of Excellent and Terrible Lessons. In Video One the \"teacher\" was absolutely rude and intimidating to his students; I felt sorry that they had to be subjected to that treatment. If there were an E-S-A flow to the lesson structure, it was certainly lost in this video--the instructor kept looking at his notes, had disorganized papers, didn't give a clear answer to the student's question about \"can\" and \"could\" and he talked to the students while they were trying to work. In Video Two, however, the teacher presented a warm and engaging personality to the students and they responded in kind. Lesson Two was well organized and gave me clear examples of how to organize a lesson plan. It also helped me understand the importance of drilling and repetition exercises. (I want to mention that in Question 19 I was unclear about the Lesson Plan structure-- while it clearly followed the Engage, Study, Activate structure, there seemed to be two study activities, so I decided to select A Patchwork Plan as my answer.
